Some of us find our purpose easier than others. For some it takes a very long time to find their life purpose. You may have even come across it, but because you have a different idea of what it should be, you do not accept or recognize what it is. When we resist our life purpose, life resists us. I've seen people have a hard time because they are resistant to their intended role.
I believe our purpose is our intended role. I believe my Life Purpose is a role that no one can perform but myself. This role is different for each of us. Our purpose could be to help someone else reach their purpose. I doubt there is anyone on this earth who's purpose doesn't affect someone else's.
My specific way of thinking and individuality allows this 'role' to be perfect for me and only me. Sometimes we can feel this way about a specific job or an experience. That we are meant to do this; right here, right now. These 'meant to be' experiences can be (and probably are) linked to your life purpose but are only along the path that gets you there.
I have been mistaken in a situation like this and thought I had found my Life Purpose. I found alignment of what I was supposed to do but felt I had arrived at my destination, my 'dream job'. Over two years later, I have a better understanding of that feeling I had.
That feeling was alignment not completion.
I understand this because I have experienced this feeling many more times since then. And because life goes on and present becomes past, I accept that feeling as 'good job, you're having the experience you're meant to have' or 'you're right where you're supposed to be'. Once I lived through an experience I was 'meant to have', that feeling of alignment faded and I then reached a fork in the road. What have I been doing since then? Rinse and Repeat.
Finding your life purpose is not just one experience. It is not something that can be achieved and moved on from. It is something that happens as you align yourself with the universe and your purpose; when you are on the right path everything will begin to fall into place. I believe you will begin to experience ease in multiple aspects of your life. You have tapped into a very special energy and all of a sudden you are able to manifest what you desire. When you've tapped into this energy, much of what you require to serve your life purpose will appear in many forms. Example such as people showing up when you need them, signs or messages appearing when you feel stuck, or perfect opportunities presented to you that seem 'coincidental'.
Maybe this discovery of our Life Purpose happens over many lifetimes. Maybe our purpose is soul specific - in other words; the purpose I have in this life is the same purpose I'll have in the next or have had in the life before. Perhaps it's different and our purpose's modify in order to unify each other (aka keep everyone's purpose related to one another to reach an overall universal goal). For some, like myself, I know my soul has lived many lives. Maybe each time we reach our purpose and once our life ends, we start a new life and relearn the same lessons. Maybe we learn new lessons. Do we ever stop learning?
I have observed people who are exhausted working on their own self-development. In this state of mind, they express that they have already worked hard and thought they would get a break. During difficult points of life, when we need the self reflection the most - we are confused why it is so hard...why it continues to be hard.
Simply put; Life is hard; life is a lot of work. I don't work for 'life' to get easier. I work for my soul to develop further.
Patterns in life are the most evident of signs of alignment to our purpose. If we are experiencing the same challenges and see patterns in our lives, ask yourself if you are listening. Especially those of you who have access to strengthened intuition. Have you ever had a conversation with someone about something they don't really want to talk about? That resistance you feel from that person is a very similar feeling to what happens to you when you're not listening to messages you're intended to receive. If we are not listening, Buddha could be right in front of us giving us the key to the universe and we wouldn't even know it. Luckily, that which send us these messages are resilient and persistent so eventually you will get them. How long that takes, is up to you.
You must be resilient.
Take advantage of each opportunity to learn about yourself - poke around in what's uncomfortable and clear our those cobwebs. It will allow you to unveil the tools to align yourself with the universe.
It is important to use tools when we can; crystals, cards, healers, strengthening our intuition. These things are all tools that can help us listen to messages that lead us to our life purpose. Tools which are unbiased, uninfluenced communication vessels for the universe and higher beings to direct important messages at us.
Maybe you're someone that doesn't believe in life purpose. But maybe you're someone that does.
All I offer here are seeds to plant, it's up to you if you'd like to water them or not.
